CDN has developed three Access to Work (AtW) guides aimed to assist you in understanding Access to Work, the application process, and eligibility. 

Waiting times:

  • As of 04/03/2025, the current AtW waiting time to hear back from a case manager is up to 35 weeks if you are employed, and 54 weeks if you are self-employed.

Latest Figures:
​

  • The LEL (lower Earnings Limit) is £6,393 for 2024 to 2025

  • The cap for AtW awards is £69,260 for the period 08 April to 31 March 2025

Renewals:
​

  • ATW suggests you do this anytime from three months before the end date of your current ATW grant. Given that wait times are longer than usual, we recommend that you complete your renewal as soon as possible. You can now renew your ATW grant online. There are six questions.
