Accessibility Training for Freelancers

What to Expect

This training takes the core elements of the 5As and expands them across different areas of the TV Industry, providing clear advice and case studies on how they can serve as the foundation for developing, delivering, and maintaining an accessible and inclusive working environment.

The 5As for Freelancers Training is delivered by Creative Diversity Network (CDN) and Access All Areas (AAA), in association with ScreenSkills and funded by the TV Access Project.

Partnership with TAP

In partnership with the TV Access Project (TAP), the Creative Diversity Network (CDN) supports greater accessibility in UK broadcasting by providing studios and post-production facilities with a resource to assess and improve the accessibility of their spaces.

What Are The 5As?

Anticipate - Ask - Access - Adjust - Advocate

The 5As is an industry standard that supports full and equal inclusion of people who are deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent.

Why TAP Training?

All you need to know to keep updated

TAP realises that Freelancers are key to delivering the TV Access Project’s aim of full inclusion by 2030 and has commissioned this training for you to become an advocate.

For each course, you must meet the eligibility criteria. Valid credits do not need to be in the same area to be valid.
