Behind the Training
Lucy Andrews-Gavin (She/Her)
​
Lucy is the Access Manager at Access All Areas and brings lived experience of neurodiversity, alongside extensive professional experience working in access across recorded and live performance.
Lucy has worked as a lead trainer for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 intake of access coordinators, funded by ScreenSkills, and mentors several of the 2023-24 cohort. She leads Access All Areas’ partnership with the TV Access Project and sits on several TAP working groups, and is currently designing the TAP Access Passport template.
Lucy has worked as an access consultant and coordinator on some of the UK’s most high-profile productions, including The Crown and The Witcher (both Netflix), on-screen projects that pioneered disabled access like Ralph and Katie (ITV Studios for BBC), and Dinosaur (Two Brothers for BBC). Lucy’s recent experience working in unscripted includes 007: Road To A Million (72 Films for Amazon Studios) and consultancy for Pointless (Remarkable for BBC).
Lucy has consulted and led training for organisations including the BBC, Netflix, National Theatre, National Film and Television School, Women In Film and TV, Grierson Trust, Production Guild of Great Britain, Central School of Speech and Drama, University College London, and many more.
Lucy is a pioneer and sector leader. She led access for the first neurodivergent regulars on Holby City, Hollyoaks, and EastEnders, and led the first relaxed performances in the UK as part of her role at Autism West Midlands, authoring ‘Show Time’, the first published guide to relaxed performance.

Access All Areas Associate Artists

Access All Areas works with a group of 5 freelance associate artists, all of whom bring lived experience as disabled professionals.
AAA’s regular pool of facilitators regularly co-leads with Lucy Andrews-Gavin. Lucy leads their training and professional development, and they consistently co-work with her in production environments.

Chris Pike (he/him)
​
Chris is one of the UK’s leading autistic voices, having delivered hundreds of hours of training, consultancy, and speaking on the topics of neurodiversity and disability across a wide range of sectors.
He has worked with some of the UK’s biggest theatre and broadcast companies, bringing his own experiences as an autistic creative professional as well as learning from several years in the not-for-profit sector to deliver engaging content and training. He also delivers Disability in TV training for the Creative Diversity Network and wrote (as well as delivered) their Neurodiversity in Screen training session.
He has delivered training or speaking engagements at Discovery, MediaCom, and Viacom, as well as RADA and the University of East London.
